Summer Intensive Revision Course for the Gloucestershire GL 11 Plus Exam
Due to popular demand, we are very pleased to be able to announce the return of our revision course that takes place in late August. The course aims to revise and fully prepare children for the GL 11 Plus Exam that takes place shortly after the course ends. This course was launched a few years ago and proved both very helpful and popular with children in the final stages of preparation for the exam.
The course takes place for 4 full days and, in addition, includes the opportunity to attend one of our highly regarded mock exams on August (24th) or September (7th). PLEASE NOTE THAT AT THE TIME OF WRITING, GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNCIL HAVE NOT ANNOUNCED THE DATE OF THE 11 PLUS IN 2024, LIKELY TO BE 14TH OR 7TH SEPTEMBER. IF 7TH, THEN THE MOCK ON 7TH WILL NOT TAKE PLACE).We will hold back some places on these mocks and request you choose the free mock as soon as possible to be sure of a place on your preferred date, as the mocks do tend to sell out.

Aimed at Year 5 pupils (going into year 6 in September 2024) sitting the GL 11 plus exam.
All new course materials not previously used in classes
Covering all core areas (English & Verbal Reasoning, Maths and NVR)
Courses taught by Philip our Head Tutor.
Children shall be supported with exam technique and be introduced to brief mind well-being strategies such as mindfulness, brain gym exercises and relaxation to support in managing any nerves and to boost concentration and focus.
Children may also be assisted on the course by a Pates Grammar School pupil who has previously studied with 11 Plus Tutoring Academy.
Revision of all key concepts
Includes one free mock exam following the course on one of the available dates following the course (24th August or 7th September as long at the real 11 plus exam does not take place on this date).
Course times 9.30am - 4.30pm daily (1 hour total breaks each day with 15 mins mid morning and 30 minutes for lunch) 24 hours course.

Cost £400 (includes one free mock value £69) Similar local courses are more than twice the price. Payment in 2 instalments is possible. Prices of our summer intensive course and mocks have been held constant for several years now). Childcare vouchers or Tax Free Childcare payments also welcome. Please advise if paying by this method.
Places are strictly limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis and are reserved using the form via the link below.
Places are also available to external pupils not currently with 11 Plus Tutoring Academy. Referrals of external pupils will entitle you to an additional free mock exam.
